    Yes. Vinyl decking is a completely waterproof membrane when installed by professionals. You can be confident that your home is protected from water damages if all the manufacturer’s installation specifications are followed.

  • Can vinyl be installed over my existing deck?

    We do not recommend our customers installing vinyl over an existing deck unless it is unsealed concrete or plywood. However, any warranty offered will be voided if we apply a vinyl membrane over old decking.

  • Is a vinyl deck suitable for hot climates?

    Vinyl decks are not hotter than any other decking type. However, vinyl comes in a wide variety of colors, and choosing a lighter color will help to keep the deck surface cooler in Los Angeles hot climate.
